Leena Kothari-Seward
BSc (Hons) Physics, PgD, Adv Dip Ext Psych
I offer psychotherapy in Central London and have over 25 years of clinical experience. I trained at Regent’s College and have been running a successful private practice since 2009.
Over the years, I have worked with many clients from many different backgrounds and life circumstances, supporting them through the crisis that first brought them to therapy and working patiently to help them to reach new insights and make positive changes in their lives.
Prior to training as a psychotherapist, I studied Physics at Kings College, University of London and spent the next 15 years working in the corporate world of business consultancy and financial services. I am an experienced EMCC executive coach and offer coaching meetings to develop leadership skills, improve performance and maintain well-being in the workplace. See www.mosaic-exco.com for further details.
In my personal life, I have been married for almost 30 years and am a mother of two, now young adult children. I was raised in the UK in a bi-lingual, Gujarati household by first generation immigrant parents. Living through both Indian and British cultures, I learnt first hand how context and perspective impact the way we make sense of any situation. This experience has proved invaluable in my therapeutic work. I understand the emotional challenges that can arise when combining work and family life. I enjoy running and practice yoga with mindfulness to maintain physical, mental and spiritual balance.
